Axillary Nerves

Long thoracic nerve (C5-7) — supplies serratus anterior. Damage causes winging of the scapula. Thoracodorsal nerve (C6-8) — supplies latissimus dorsi. Damage weakens shoulder adduction and internal rotation. Both are at risk during axillary dissection.
